Things to do in Rarotonga
There are a variety of things to do in Rarotonga apart from lazing around on the beach or beside the pool. Here are a few things we have found that look like fun.
Pa's Cross Island Trek
Guided cross-island walking tour by Pa. Much info on fauna, flora and their uses in cooking, medicine, dyes etc. Myths and legends too. Strenuous. Includes lunch and transport.

Raro Ocean Adventures -Round the island
Two-hour action packed boat trip around Rarotonga. Whale watching. Free pick-up and return.
Raro Safari 4WD Tour
3.5 hour journey round back roads and up mountains + BBQ on beach (morning tour). Same for afternoon minus BBQ. Booking required.
(morning) $60 adult $30 child, (afternoon) $55 adult $25 child
Takitumu Nature WalkGentle walk through forest to see endangered Rarotongan flycatcher bird in the Takitumu Conservation Area. Includes lunch and transport.
Captain Tama's Lagoon CruiseTake a memorable trip on Captain Tama's Lagoon Cruise - a glass bottom lagoon cruise upon the crystal waters of the Muri Lagoon to Motu Koromiri. Read more here
